Unlocking Your Child's Potential

Welcome to The De Montfort School

Our motto is "Unlocking Your Child's Potential". We believe that every child needs to feel valued and this encouragement builds self-belief and leads to achievement. Success for every child, however, can only be achieved through the genuine commitment of everyone: our students, staff, governors, parents, other schools, businesses and our local community. Everyone must champion and constructively challenge us to help us to be the very best we can.

We offer a unique, all-through 10-18 education, with formal admission in Years 6, 9 and the Sixth Form. Our relationship with our First and Middle Schools is very good, and ensures that new students have the smoothest possible transition to our school. Students join us in Year 6 from First Schools such as St Richard's, Bengeworth and St Andrew's; in Year 9 from Middle Schools such as Blackminster, and in Year 12 from a range of High Schools.

We have an open door policy and you are welcome to come and visit the school at any time to see us in action, but please come along to our Open Evening on Thursday 17th October 2019 between 6:00pm and 8:30pm to see all of the great things we do.
